Ay Diosito del Paraguay its the song that opens our album Billetes Falsos. Maybe not only because it let us enter slowly in its rhythm and melodies, but it also anticipates the climax of the whole album as if it was our presentation. In all our albums, the selection of the first song is always very primordial, because we try do condensate in that selection the whole climax of the album.
Ay Diosito del Paraguay, Oh God From Paraguay, it’s more an expression, or an exclamation that someone found to liberate an emotion, that was so suffocating as feeling that your arms are not long enough to hug, or the touch of your fingers can’t find a way to slow down. These quotes are part of the lyrics, the story of an encounter between two people, maybe the song can also tell the story about many other unexpected encounters?
The song was first born, and then we found the sonority, that grows like a Paraguayan jungle among, harps, percussions, mysterious choirs, which leads us to nature.
